Learn How the Five Fold Works

In October of 2017, a prophetic word was spoken that God had promised this church plant seven years of harvest. It December, it was established and commissioned that an open heaven would go with us to see this city transformed by the glory of God. Since that time until now, we are contenting for it and walking in it. We are partnering with ministries all over the area and we are asking God to send provision and laborers to the harvest field of Fort Worth, Texas. God's blessing on this five-fold leadership team and our heart for the lost and the transformation of this city is what we are crying out for Him to bless, expand, and ignite. In 2020, we have entered a new era of authority for salvation and city transformation. Join us in this incredible journey and run with us in this unprecedented season. God is waiting, we are waiting, and Fort Worth is waiting too. There is a place in this miracle... for YOU!

LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL, MIND, & STRENGTH and love your neighbor as yourself

We are a community of Christ followers who are passionate about the things of God. Because of this, we honor and value what He honors and values. We have a mandate from God to reach people, our city, and our world with the good news of Jesus Christ. Our culture is characterized by worship, God's presence and power, forgiveness, salvation, restoration, discipleship, and community.

We honor and uphold the Bible as God's eternal truth that does not change. We value His presence and blessing in all that we do. We value character over comfort. We value relationships and connection as the primary way we demonstrate that we are Jesus' disciples. We value life at every stage and we value you because God values you. We see your life as a powerful potential for a unique and important transformational impact on the world and on eternity. We seek to RE-present Jesus to the world and to respect, love, and cherish everyone just as He would.

We are asking God to show His goodness through signs, wonders, and miracles that will lead people to a place of surrender to Jesus. In short... we want revival!

SHORT TERM: Establish a five-fold leadership team and to gather together as many like-hearted people as we can in the heart of the downtown area for worship, discipleship, equipping, and sending. We are asking God for encounters with His presence and power in order to touch and transform people's lives. We will accomplish this through encountering worship, prayer and intercession, exhortation and impartation, building community, giving, outreach events, and daily "woman at the well" encounters all over the city.

LONG TERM: Over the next ten years, we want to see this five-fold leadership model duplicated in churches all over the world; bringing order and balance to global church governance and health and maturity to global church life. The ongoing ethos of our church community will be reproduced organically and authentically in each area around the globe. We will raise up five-fold teams who will raise up generations of believing believers who will influence the world in the love and knowledge of God through the power of the Holy Spirit, with the strength and boldness of character to sustain their calling and commission.

Our vision is God's glory, the transformation of Fort Worth through the love, power, and good news of Jesus Christ, and the restoration of the five-fold offices of Ephesians 4:11-16 to the church.

We affirm that the apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, pastoral, and teaching offices of Ephesians 4 are Jesus' gifts to the church and are active and needed today. These offices encourage, edify, and equip the church to accomplish the assignments of Christ to bring heaven to earth and to transform nations.

We want to see the church as a whole begin to shift the thinking and practice of its governance towards this more consistent biblical model. We desire her to see the transformational evidences and global impact of this truth. When speaking of the emerging United States, Thomas Jefferson spoke about the concept of a democratic republic that had never been tried before by any nation. His words ring true in the Ephesians 4 model.

"Not to find ourselves new principles or new arguments never before thought of, but to place before mankind the common sense of the subject in terms so plain and firm as to justify ourselves in the stand we are compelled to take."

We desire to see the ancient truth of scripture become new again. To see this old way of doing church accepted, embraced, and adopted across the entire church. We want church leaders to see the "common sense of the subject" clearly and exuberantly and follow our lead to a healthy expression of the person of Jesus Christ through His leadership in the church. We are contending for this new wineskin. Join us!

Ephesians 4:11-16 lays out the church leadership design that Jesus created.

"Now, these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."

We believe this is a more consistent biblical leadership model where each office serves together in unity and in unison as Jesus' gifts to the church. Working as one, the leadership team trains up each person connected to the church in his or her unique gift-set and calling. This is our approach to disciplining the church to be the ministers and servants in the community. We are convinced that this five-fold approach will make the whole body fit together perfectly, as each part does its own special work, helping the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
